You don't know how to consistently turn your guitar students into really great guitar players. If you do not know how to help your guitar students achieve everything they want with guitar on a consistent basis, they will not recommend you to other potential guitar students. The most highly successful guitar teachers (who earn 6 figures +) maintain a reputation for getting great results for their guitar students. This is an important component to their success, and is what helps them to quickly expand their guitar teaching business. This is why, in my guitar teacher improvement program I spend a lot of time training members how to help their students progress in the fastest way possible

and here is another

It is crucial to understand that you will not be able to make a living as a guitar teacher if you have a schedule full of casual, non-serious students. These students will only cause you to waste time as you put up with endless lesson cancellations, missing payments and other issues. Even though these problems are only 'partially' related to the issue of marketing yourself to 'all styles', they are entirely CAUSED by it and will keep you from becoming financially successful as a guitar teacher.

and finally

Solution Three. Many guitar teachers feel pressured when they are trying to show their guitar students how to practice and the student says something like "OK I get... can we talk about X already?" Don't cave in when your guitar students try to take control of the lesson like this. Make sure that your students truly 'get it' 100% so that when they get home they don't realize that they really don't 'get it' and end up practicing wrong. Remind them that by learning how to properly practice guitar they will reach their guitar playing goals much faster.
